How Much Does Mobile Car Detailing Cost in OKC? An Honest Guide

July 21, 2026 · 6 min read · Frogman Detailing

Nobody likes calling around for prices, so here's the straight version: in the OKC metro, a professional exterior detail generally starts under $100, a deep interior detail runs in the $150–250 range, and a full inside-and-out combo typically lands between $200 and $350 depending on vehicle size and condition. Our current prices are always on the services page, no quote form required.

But a price range only helps if you know what moves a job from the bottom of it to the top. That's what this guide is for.

The four things that actually move the price

Detailing is priced on time and product. Anything that adds either one adds cost:

  • Vehicle size. A crew-cab truck or three-row SUV has 30–50% more surface and carpet than a sedan. Expect a modest bump; ours is typically $25–50.
  • Condition. A car vacuumed monthly details fast. A car that hasn't been touched since 2023 doesn't. Heavy soiling can add an hour or more of labor.
  • Pet hair. Double-coated dog hair weaves into carpet fibers and defeats normal vacuums. It takes special tools and real time, which is why it's an add-on nearly everywhere.
  • Add-ons. Odor treatments, engine bays, headlight restoration, ceramic spray coatings: all legitimately useful, all extra time and product.

Mobile vs. shop pricing: what you're really comparing

Mobile detailing in OKC usually costs about the same as a comparable shop detail, sometimes a touch more, sometimes less. What you're actually buying with mobile is your own time back: no drop-off, no shuttle, no waiting room coffee, no second trip to pick the car up. The detail happens in your driveway or office lot while you do literally anything else.

A good mobile rig is fully self-contained, with a water tank, generator, and extraction equipment on board, so you're not trading quality for convenience. If a mobile detailer asks to use your hose and your outlet, that tells you something about the operation.

Why the cheapest quote is usually the most expensive

A $60 'full detail' from a marketplace app has to cut a corner somewhere, and the corner is always time. Rushed jobs mean dressing sprayed over dirt, one bucket of gray water for the whole car (hello, swirl marks), and an interior that looks wiped rather than cleaned. You'll be shopping again in a month.

The math that matters isn't the invoice, it's cost per month of your car actually staying clean. A thorough detail two or three times a year beats a cheap one every six weeks, on both your wallet and your paint.

How to keep your detailing bill down (from a detailer)

Honest tips that cost us money to give you:

  • Keep a schedule. Two to four details a year keeps every visit at the low end of the range, because nothing ever gets bad.
  • Bundle. Inside-and-out combos are almost always priced better than booking the two halves separately, and multi-car rates exist for a reason.
  • Ask about discounts. We give 10% to military, first responders, and teachers. Other reputable outfits have their own versions.
  • Don't pay for what you don't need. If the outside is fine and the inside is a crime scene, book an interior. A good detailer will tell you the same.
